From the North

Exit the M40 at J9 onto the A34 towards OXFORD. By-pass Oxford and Newbury, then after approximately 17 miles exit the A34 at the Bullington Cross junction (signposted Stockbridge A30, Andover, Basingstoke via A303). At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A30 towards STOCKBRIDGE (for approx 7 miles). Turn left at the first roundabout, and left at the second roundabout and immediately right onto A3057 towards ROMSEY. Continue for 3 miles to King’s Somborne. Through village for a further 2½ miles, then follow local Kimbridge map.

From London Area

Exit the M3 at J8 (immediately after J7!) signposted A303 SALISBURY. After approximately 8½ miles, leave A303 onto the A30 towards STOCKBRIDGE (approx 7 miles). Turn left at first roundabout, and left at second roundabout and immediately right onto A3057 towards ROMSEY. Continue for 3 miles to King’s Somborne. Through village for a further 2½ miles, then follow local Kimbridge map.

From Salisbury, Winchester or Southampton

It is easiest, if you are not familiar with the district, to get to Romsey. From the Market Place in Romsey town centre, take A3057 northwards towards STOCKBRIDGE. After some 3½ miles you will see on your right a pub called “The Bear and Ragged Staff”. Turn left opposite the pub, as indicated by the ‘Kimbridge’ sign and follow local Kimbridge map.
